Meet the Founders

Angela Ashurst

Angela launched Upword Resume 15 years ago while raising five kids. What began as a side hustle during nap times eventually became her main income as a single mom.

Today, Angela is an expert in business processes, staff training, and partnerships. She believes financial stability isn’t just about numbers; it’s a tool that empowers women to create better lives for themselves and their families.

Angela says:“That fear and resistance you feel when you’re doing something new? That’s a sign you’re on the right track. I’ve lived it. Everyone can find a path to time freedom and money alignment—we give you the steps to move past resistance and make your business real.”

Britt Larsen

Britt built her career in politics and corporate communications, working with Fortune 500 companies like Microsoft and Delta. She became the youngest and only female Vice President at her firm before leaving corporate life to build her own business: Livlyhood, a career coaching brand that’s now thriving. Her proudest role, though, is momma to her two miracle boys.

Britt says:“I remember the Sunday scaries all too well. For me, running my own business is about time freedom: swimming with my kids on a Tuesday, traveling without asking for permission, or just taking the afternoon off. Replacing your corporate income is more doable than you think and I want to help you get there.”
